Job Description:
Since 1987, A.A. Waters & Brookes has been providing full-service irrigation and sprinkler services for their clientele while overseeing all irrigation needs, including system design, professional installation and complete servicing. The Company ensures that your lawn sprinkler and irrigation systems are designed, installed and maintained to your satisfaction.
A.A Waters & Brookes is looking for Irrigation Technicians who are willing to be trained, motivated, strong work ethic, ambitious, dependable, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, take on dirty, physically demanding duties, take pride in workmanship and want to make a career for themselves within the trade. No experience is required for the position, however a willingness to learn and work hard is essential. Candidates will be trained to install and maintain irrigation equipment assigned . Equipment can include sprinklers, water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves, controllers and other plumbing equipment. Applicants will be trained to work with digging equipment such as backhoes, shovels, pipe pullers and augers.

Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions
Experience and specialization- Landscaping experience, Residential projects, Commercial and/or industrial construction, Park and recreation sites
Additional information- Transportation/travel information- Valid driver's licence
Work conditions and physical capabilities- Attention to detail, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Own tools/equipment- Steel-toed safety boots
