Job Description:
Alterra needs a Wooden Panel Installer for full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have experience in this position or in the one with closely related duties. They will also be a detail-oriented team player who reflects the company's high standards of customer focus.
· Install prefabricated wooden panels to form exterior structures
· Be familiar with the operation of hand and power tools including but not limited to hammers, drills, chainsaws, skill saws, jackhammers, etc.
· Read and interpret drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
· Position panels in sequence specified by blueprints and verify their alignment
· Fasten panels to specified areas, screw panels to roof truss
· Measure and cut panel sections to required dimensions
· Be able to work with little to no supervision
Job Requirements:
· Secondary school diploma
· Experience in wooden panel installation is an asset
· Training is provided
BENEFITS AND SALARY
· Full-time, permanent position
· $26.50 per hour for 30-40 hours of work per week
· Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week
· Head office: 199 Anthony Lane, Concord, ON L4K 3K7
· Work location: customers' sites around the GTA and Ontario
