JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business System Specialist will develop, integrate, and maintain IT systems to support Start Smart Business Solutions Inc.’s business advisory, financial planning, and healthcare consulting services. This role ensures efficiency, compliance tracking, and real-time data access for both internal teams and clients.
EMPLOYMENT LENGTH: PERMANENT 30Hrs Full Time

JOB DUTIES
The duties of the Business System Specialist at Start Smart Business Solutions Inc. will include but are not limited to:
• Develop & Integrate IT Solutions
o Automate funding applications, business planning, and financial forecasting.
o Implement healthcare compliance tracking to meet regulatory deadlines.
o Optimize Microsoft 365 Dynamics, Power BI, and SharePoint for workflow automation.
• Analyze & Improve Business Processes
o Identify inefficiencies in advisory and compliance tracking and develop IT solutions.
o Implement automated reporting for real-time business insights.
• Ensure Data Security & Compliance
o Protect sensitive business and healthcare data with secure IT solutions.
o Maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Act as a Liaison Between Business & IT
o Collaborate with advisors, consultants, and others to implement IT solutions.
o Train employees on new system functionalities.
• Test, Maintain & Enhance IT Systems
o Conduct regular system updates to ensure accuracy and security.
o Provide technical support to prevent service disruptions.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in business systems analysis, IT solutions development, or enterprise systems management.
• Proven experience developing and optimizing Microsoft 365 Dynamics, Power BI, and SharePoint for business operations.
