Job Description:
RITZ Architectural Systems Inc. is a supplier and installer of Metal Cladding, Sloped Metal Roofing, Steel Deck, 1/8" Aluminum Plate, Composite, and Specialty Panel Systems including Terra Cotta, Zinc, Laminated Panels, Fibre Cement, and Granite.
At this time, Ritz Architectural Systems Inc. is looking for skilled and qualified Construction Estimator who are looking to further their career in the IT field. Candidates will be required to receive and analyze bid invitations, Prepare detailed cost estimates, Coordinate pricing and quotations, Create and review bid proposals, Manage project changes and change orders, Monitor costs and project progress, Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, Consult and coordinating with stakeholders, Support the project management team and Specialize in exterior cladding systems .

Responsibilities/ Tasks
Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Prepare master format estimates (Class A)
Operate CADD and other computer software systems
Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms
Utilize quantity take-off procedures
Advise on tendering procedures
Analyze tenders and recommend awards
Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Experience and specialization- Computer and technology knowledge, Spreadsheet, AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Type of experience- Architecture- Commercial and/or industrial construction, Industrial construction, Institutional construction
Project size estimating experience- $8,000,001 +
