Job Duties: Generate and assign system part numbers in the ERP system (EPICOR) by conducting part crossing and validation, ensuring accurate bill of materials (BOM) and routing setup; Accurately process incoming customer RFQs using the Compass quoting platform, including data entry, cost structure analysis, and quote folder organization in accordance with internal procedures; Conduct detailed cost analysis by evaluating material, labor, and overhead costs to produce timely, competitive, and data-driven quotations; Proactively coordinate with the Customer Support Team to communicate lead time constraints, technical clarifications, and factors affecting quote delivery within the customer-defined response timeframe; Prepare and deliver formal quote responses to customers via email, ensuring pricing accuracy and inclusion of technical and commercial terms; Manage customer portal updates, including price uploads, lead time adjustments, and part specification documentation; Maintain and update internal quoting logs and tracking dashboards to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy for performance metrics and KPI evaluation; Support cross-functional departments (including Engineering, Procurement, and Production) by providing cost and quote-related data and assisting with technical inputs during NPI or re-quote activities; Serve as backup for team members and assist the Customer Support team as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and cross-training capability; Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, macros) and EPICOR tools to build and maintain dynamic quoting models and cost simulations; Ensure version control and consistency in quoting templates and databases to maintain compliance with internal quality standards and customer-specific requirements; and Apply statistical and analytical tools to evaluate cost variances and develop continuous improvement strategies for estimating processes.
Wage: $41,933.00 per year
