Job Description:
Must Haves:
* A&P License:
* Must possess an A&P license.
* Aircraft Maintenance or Factory Training:
* Have at least 2 years of maintenance experience or factory training.
* Preferred experience on Challenger 300/350, Citation XLS, Hawker 900XP, Bell 206, 407, and 429.
* Corporate Aviation Experience:
* Minimum of 10 years in corporate aviation.
* Inspection Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience.
* IA (Inspection Authorization):
* IA preferred.
* RII Experience and Qualification:
* RII (Repair Inspection Authorization) experience and qualification.
* FAA Part 145 and 135 Environment:
* Experience in an FAA Part 145 and 135 environment.


What you will do:
* Repair Station Inspection Functions:
* Perform inspection functions of the repair station in accordance with the Repair Station Quality Control Manual.
* Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure familiarity with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s procedures/recommendations, and other pertinent data related to the task or item of work.
* Incoming Product Acceptance:
* Accept incoming products procured for use by the Repair Station and ensure their approval or acceptability.
* Preliminary Inspections:
* Perform preliminary inspections on all aircraft and/or components undergoing maintenance to determine preservation state, the necessity for functional tests, and to document any obvious defects.
* Work Order Inspections:
* Assure that all inspections are properly performed on completed work and work orders.
* Responsible for inspection entries on forms and work orders used in the Repair Station.
* Progressive and Ongoing Inspections:
* Make progressive and ongoing inspections at various stages of teardown, overhaul, and repair of all aircraft or components received by the Repair Station.
* Work Order Checks:
* Responsible for checking completed Work Orders / Workbooks for work performed.
* Audit and Evaluation:
* Perform scheduled and systematic evaluation audits for the Repair Station, Approved Vendors, and Approved Maintenance Facilities to ascertain abilities and procedural compliance with RSQCM and GMM policy and guidance.
* Training and Technical Assistance:
* Provide training and technical assistance to others.
* Maintenance Control (135 Charter):
* Provide Maintenance Control duties for the 135 Charter.
* Documentation Review:
* Review the General Maintenance Manual, Manufacturers' Manuals, publications, AAIP’s, and specific (RII) items, if applicable, to maintain knowledge and proficiency for RII Inspections.
* Aircraft Status Updates:
* Review 135/Managed aircraft projected due lists and provide aircraft status updates to the Director of Maintenance regularly.
* Conformity Packages:
* Develop aircraft 135 conformity packages.
