Position Overview:
JAVAD GNSS is seeking a Software Engineer to join our software design team in Fort Wright, KY. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain application software for field computers and embedded systems for GNSS products. Reporting to the VP of Product Development, you'll help keep our GUIs modern, efficient, and aligned with the latest software trends. This position requires a US citizen or permanent resident who is flexible, detail-oriented and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop cross-platform data collection software for Windows, Android, iOS, and Linux OS.
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to enhance software performance.
Write proprietary drivers, debug hardware issues, and implement user-friendly application interfaces.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: BSc in Computer Science or Engineering (MSc a plus).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++17, Java, XML, and experience with TCP/IP networking for client-server applications.
Experience: Embedded software engineering, Shell and Python scripting, and OS coding techniques.
Preferred: Familiarity with GNSS technology, IP protocols, and hardware interfaces.
