Job Description:
West Four Group of Companies Inc., operating as Penner Doors and Hardware, 327 Wheeler Place, Saskatoon, S7P 0A4, (https://www.pennerdoors.com), has a vacancy for 1 (one) Construction Project Supervisor. This is a permanent full-time position.
Duties
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in installing of specialized doors and access systems in the commercial market
• Ensure that work is completed within contractual deadlines and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors
• Ensure teams work efficiently recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition door frames and access systems for the teams
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
• Prepare work progress reports for the clients
• Ensure that all safety measures are met on site
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Education Requirements
• Qualified tradesperson or diploma/degree in engineering or construction related field from any jurisdiction
Experience Requirement
• Any hands-on working experience in construction or construction supervisory experience is required
Wage, Hours and Benefits
• Hourly rate of $36.00, paid bi-weekly
• This is a salaried position and overtime is not needed, should overtime be requested, overtime will be paid after 8 hours per day @ 1.5 rate per hour
• 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm)
