7889798 CANADA INC. O/A Speed Force Transport has an immediate opening for a TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR (TEER: 12013) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.

As a Transportation Logistics supervisor (TEER: 12013), you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Supervise, Plan, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the safety compliance, dispatching crews, scheduling transportation crews and routes; and other related activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies including development, execution, and maintenance of effective driver safety training programs in compliance with FMCSA and company safety policies.
• Develop a driver and fleet scorecard to track overall safety and compliance performance.
• Ensure drivers remain compliant with annual physicals, drug/alcohol screenings, and driver license renewals in accordance with all state, federal and local laws.
• Manage driver logs to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Investigate and track all accidents to meet both company and FMCSA/DOT requirements, including post-accident drug/alcohol testing and re-training.
• Build and maintain Driver Qualification files.
• Promotes a “Safety Focused” culture throughout the company that incorporates operations, safety, and maintenance departments.
• Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
• Develop and conduct regularly scheduled Driver Safety Meetings.
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Qualifications:
• Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management and related is usually required.
• Several years of experience in the occupation supervised are usually required.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: CAD$29.20
